Client
Our client, a firm of specialist solicitors based near Chesterfield, is keen to recruit an experienced corporate paralegal to join its busy Corporate department.
Role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing due diligence data rooms and dealing with due diligence reviews and reports, basic transaction documents (such as share buyback agreements) and ancillary transaction documents. They must also be able to navigate a case management system effectively and have excellent IT skills. The role would suit candidates who are organised, diligent, articulate, with good attention to detail and who are able to prioritise work effectively and work well both autonomously and within a team. You will be able to communicate clearly and report on work carried out/obstacles encountered in a timely manner.
Our client is looking for someone who is friendly and approachable, efficient and dependable and able to converse with clients by telephone and email. Someone who is willing to go that extra mile for clients, to get the job done. As there is a lot of work to deal with, you must be able to hit the ground running. You should feel confident working independently but not be afraid to ask for help when required.
