Client:
Our client a highly respected UK private client firm with recognised expertise in the technology and media industries is looking for an IP Litigation Paralegal on a 12 month contract. There may be potential to extend this beyond this initial period.
Role:
You will work directly with partners and other lawyers assisting with general work for the Group. You will assist with online brand protection monitoring and reporting and preparing and issuing takedown notices, undertaking research and preparing bundles, costs schedules, attending Court and assisting with preparation of bills. You will also get the opportunity to assist with business development and marketing, as well as general administrative tasks for the Group.
Required knowledge & skills:
The successful candidate will have a strong academic record and have completed the LPC (or equivalent from another jurisdiction). Prior experience of working in a litigation department of a law firm would be an advantage. You should possess strong IT skills and some familiarity with online marketplaces would be useful, excellent time management and organisational skills and able to work under pressure. You will also be a team player, confident and enthusiastic with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
